Janet Jarrett
Professional background includes over 25 years in healthcare experience in planning and development, budgeting, and operations of an outpatient surgery center, independent diagnostic testing facility, and multi-specialty physician practices. Janet is dedicated to serving to improve the health of our communities. She serves on the boards of North Carolina Association of Free & Charitable Clinics (secretary) and Community Care Clinic of Dare (executive).
Ramon Harmon
Ramon’s professional background includes 14 years in healthcare with experience in operations, strategic planning, readiness, and community development. Ramon graduated from Western Carolina University with a BS in Health Management and is certified by Duke University in Nonprofit Management.
Bracey Robertson III, MD
Dr. Robertson graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a BS in Pharmacy in 1985, and the Brody School of Medicine with Doctor of Medicine 1992. Dr. Robertson is board certified in Family Medicine whose goals as a physician are to improve healthcare quality and access.
Mary Catherine Chapley
Mary Catherine has been a nurse practitioner for over 25 years, having worked in various settings before coming to the Community Care Clinic. She is a graduate of Villanova University in Radnor, PA with a MSN and Wilmington University, DE with her Nurse Practitioner. Her dream job was to provide quality care to the underserved population.
Sissy Aydlett, RN
Sissy began working with the Foundation first through the hospital system as a critical care and palliative nurse. She has translated her skill set into the perfect match with technology and caring. She has made remarkable improvements in A1C measures for a pilot group consisting of high challenge patients. As the lead in implementing new technology and temporary workflows for virtual visits during COVID-19, she continues to oversee growth and improvement with models of care.
Valerie Lewis, CHW, MA
Valerie is a Registered Community Health Worker and Medical Assistant. Valerie’s training and experience includes over 30 years providing care and coordination in medical offices. She also manages the Prescription Assistance Program which provides discounted medications directly from Pharmaceutical Companies. Valerie believes that acknowledging differences and challenges is the first step in providing equitable access to quality and affordable healthcare.
Taylor Bogue
Taylor began her career in nursing in 2015. As a dedicated advocate for our patients she has furthered her training as a Registered Community Healthcare Worker and is Certified in Mental Health First Aid.
Tonya Tatem
Tonya Tatem is a highly experienced Patient Navigation Lead and NC MDPP Life Coach with a diverse background in human resources, billing, Diabetes Education and administrative duties. With over 25 years of experience in the public healthcare field and mental health sector, Tonya possesses a wealth of knowledge and expertise through her educational pursuits at Elizabeth City State University.
Cheryl Russel
Cheryl’s background includes working with retail and medical for 45 years. She is certified as a pharmacy tech and is committed to serving the community through healthcare.
Nick Stevenson
As a third-generation pharmacist, Nick is continuing the family tradition of serving the community. His father, Paul A. Stevenson Sr., was a founding pharmacist of the Elizabeth City Pharmacy/Prescription Project which evolved into the organization we are today. Nick began his career as a pharmacist in 1984. He now brings the personal service he learned to provide in independent pharmacies to our patients.
Zary Ortiz
Zary has been in healthcare since 2000. She is an advocate for the Hispanic community and enjoys educating patients on how to live a healthy lifestyle and has a love for cycling.
Logan Boyce
Logan began in 2021 working with Dr. Robertson as his assistant. She has prior experience working in Emergency Medical Services. She is a certified Emergency Medical Technician, Community Health Worker, and certified in Mental Health First Aid.
